I was staring at a poster of a black hole today. As I stood there I pondered how it could be that nothing could escape a black hole, not even light. If one tried to stop light they would fail. One can reflect it an infinite amount of times and it would not lose energy. One could absorb the energy of light with a black surface, yet, it would not all be gone. But a black hole attracts and takes in countless amounts of light. Such a thing is inconcievable to me.
